Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt – Milk & Honey EP (John Daly Remixes)
Good Guy Mikesh and frequent collaborator Filburt are two music lovers who met in Leipzig and decided to pool their creative energy. Combining disco, pop, soul and house in their charismatic productions for Permanent Vacation, Mirau and Broque, the pair has one become of their home city’s most exciting underground acts, and remixes by Mark E or John Daly have lately drawn international attention to their music.
The new released Milk & Honey EP on Liebe Detail Spezial is a solid confirmation of that rising success. The remixes are drifting off to a place beyond my personal taste. The original however has been on repeat since the break of day and will probably be for another couple of hours!
